Victory Day Tour in Stalingrad 2022

 We are pleased to offer you following Victory Day tour itinerary during the May Holidays 2022 

77th Anniversary of the Great Victory in WW2 in Volgograd formerly known as Stalingrad 

6th of May. Gathering day.

All participants must provide their flight information for us to meet them at the airport of Gumrak in Volgograd. For those who decide on train we shall need the train and carriage numbers.

7th of May. 09.00–17.00

Start from the Square of Fallen Heroes. Sightseeing walking tour to the Volga along the Alley of Heroes. Fountain "Art/Friendship" on the upper Volga terrace. Kholsunov memoral. Volga River and role in the battle. Stairs of Triumph built for Josef Stalin visit. Boat trip by the Volga river. The monument to the Marines and Volga Fleet heroes. Factories - view from the river.

Lunch in the downtown.

Central Department store and its museum. Finish that day with more downtown sights in Komsomolsky Park.

All the participants of the tour will be provided with maps to explore the city in their free time for more sightseeing, night festivities or dining out. Maps and other relevant materials will be published on the website you can print out for preliminary reading and study.

8th of May. 09.00–17.00

Monument to Young Communist League Members of Stalingrad Pavlov’s House. Chuikov’s memorial. Museum-panorama "The Battle of Stalingrad" and the military arsenal with personal stories about Katyshas, T-34s, Ilyushins and other weapons of the Victory (told by participants of the Great Patriotic War who fought in different types of troops).

Lunch in the downtown.

Factories and the Working class society, battle for the factories. Finish that day on the Tractror Plant rears and Dzerzhinski Avenue with old Stalingrad buildings and Houses of Culture.

9th of May. Victory Day. 09.00–17.00

Attend ceremony at the Eternal Flame on the Fallen Heroes Square. The Victory Day Parade starts at 10.00.
Gathering of the group at 12.00 after the parade. Follow and join Orthodox Church and Cossacks procession to Mamai Hill for laying wreaths. Attend service in the Church of All the Saints.
Interview the veterans on the hill and join the celebrations. Re-enactment of the battle for Stalingrad episodes

Lunch in the downtown.

22.00 Fireworks at the central enbankment.

10th of May. 09.00–17.00

Church in the settlement of Gorodische. Soldiers’ Field. Rossoshka Reconciliation Memorial. Gumrak.

11th of May. 09.00–17.00

Peschanka Defense Line –Dar Gora – Bald Hill /T-60 tank memorial. Beketovka. Stalingrad ruins on Tulak street (Stalingrad - II area). Grain Elevator

Lunch in the center. Free time. Farewell party with veterans. Check out, pay personal bills for hotel extra services (phone, drinks etc).

12th of May.

Departures/control the flight change through our associate in Moscow.
